In beautiful, safe living and learning spaces, men returning home from incarceration — inspired by exemplars and supported throughout the metro-Phoenix area — can heal, grow, and flourish in community, rooted in care.
At The Tadini House, our mission is to support the flourishing of men returning from incarceration by creating beautiful, safe, and nurturing spaces for healing, growth, and community.
We accompany individuals and families impacted by the legal system with compassion and advocacy — offering opportunities to be seen and heard, supported and empowered — especially through our participatory defense efforts in the courts.
Through community organizing, inspired by exemplars and a vision of a future sanctuary (for 33 men), we are cultivating a space where dignity, belonging, and human potential are honored — not in spite of a person’s past, but because everyone deserves the chance to flourish as their authentic self.
To say that a person must be pure and good and follow certain codes of conduct before he can tread the path of God is to say that he must be free from disease in order to deserve medical treatment! This is absurd. Purity, goodness, etc., are all the consequences of the journey towards God; they cannot be insisted upon as essential for just starting upon it.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba ~Jnana Vahini
