Cultivating community. Advancing healing justice.

Cultivating community. Advancing healing justice.Cultivating community. Advancing healing justice.Cultivating community. Advancing healing justice.

OUR VISION

Men returning from incarceration will heal, flourish, and emerge as positive leaders within their communities.

CORE BELIEFS

  • Flourishing is a human right.
Every person deserves to heal, to grow, and to be held in community with dignity.
  • Beauty is essential.
We believe in beautiful, safe, and nurturing environments that awaken the spirit and invite reflection.
  • People are not problems to be fixed.
We reject the language of rehabilitation. We honor lived experience and trust in each person’s potential.
  • Healing happens in community.
No one should have to face life after incarceration — or the legal system — alone. Community is our foundation.
  • Families deserve support, not silence.
Through participatory defense, we create opportunities for families to be heard, supported, and empowered.

Our Mission

At The Tadini House, our mission is to support the healing, flourishing, and leadership of men returning from incarceration by creating beautiful, safe, and nurturing spaces that awaken the spirit and honor human potential.

Because healing happens in community, we actively accompany families and individuals impacted by the legal system—breaking the silence through advocacy and participatory defense efforts in the courts.

Through this collective community organizing, and inspired by our vision of a future 33-bed sanctuary, we cultivate an environment where dignity and belonging are absolute rights. We believe no one should face life after incarceration alone, and that everyone deserves the chance to flourish as their authentic self and emerge as a positive leader.

philosophy for caring at Tth

To say that a person must be pure and good and follow certain codes of conduct before he can tread the path of God is to say that he must be free from disease in order to deserve medical treatment! This is absurd. Purity, goodness, etc., are all the consequences of the journey towards God; they cannot be insisted upon as essential for just starting upon it.
