About us

Founder of The Tadini House, PJ Boone-Edgerton Longoni at Bodhi Manda Zen Cetner, Jemez Springs New

We believe flourishing is a human right.

The Tadini House is a sanctuary in progress — a vision rooted in love, community, and beauty. Founded in 2016 by PJ Boone-Edgerton Longoni, a mother with sons who experienced incarceration, The Tadini House began as an act of care: opening her home to mentor and support returning citizens.  Over time, it became more than a home. It became a dream — a space where formerly incarcerated men could heal, grow, and thrive in community.

Today, we support individuals and families impacted by the legal system through community-based mentorship and advocacy. We host the Metro-Phoenix Participatory Defense Hub, where families gather to find support, solidarity, and strength as they navigate the court system — often for charges that are minor, yet carry devastating consequences.

We do not "restore" people. We honor their wholeness. We are not building programs to fix people.  We are cultivating spaces of beauty, growth, and connection — where people can become who they are meant to be.

We’re working toward a long-term vision: to create a living sanctuary for 33 returning citizens and 66 exemplars, and to launch a leadership training program grounded in community wisdom. Though we are not there yet — and currently operate without funding or staff — these dreams guide us every day.
